Groucho Marx is often credited with saying: It is a matter of mind over matter. If you don’t have a mind, it doesn’t matter. While Groucho certainly made that statement, intended to be humorous/funny, closer examination indicates that there is more than a little truth/logic to those words. For a variety of reasons, and often depending on individual circumstances, etc., each of us has certain fears that, unless overcome and managed, will dominate us, but if we control them, we become stronger. , and better! The best way to transform anxieties, fears and insecurities in a positive and productive way is to constantly use our MINDS, and emphasizing creative, worthwhile, workable solutions, rather than dwelling on all the negative possibilities. With that in mind, this article will briefly attempt to consider, examine, review and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and why it is an essential component in maintaining a happier and less stressful life.

1. To motivate; significant; tick; metrics; mentors: You don’t need to handle your fears, alone. Most of us know someone we respect and trust, who, if asked, might be willing to serve as our mentor! Instead of letting anxieties prevent you from moving forward effectively, it is important to motivate yourself, using a variety of means/methods, such as self-talk, positive affirmations, relaxation exercises, etc. Use techniques that can be meaningful to you, because only then will they make their mark on you being better able to handle the obstacles that stand in your way! It’s often helpful to set realistic goals and carefully measure your progress, using preset metrics and other measures, to tell you how you’re doing.

two. Imagination; ideas; innovate; ideals/ideology; integrity: Use your imagination to transform ideas, to innovate, that align with your personal ideals and ideology. Maintain your absolute integrity, because those who lie to each other only harm themselves!

3. Needs; shades; nerves: Take the time to identify and learn about your personal needs and preferences! Do you know your preferred personal niche and are you willing to use the nuances that work best for you? Isn’t it better, in the long run, to use your nerves to get better and be happier, instead of dwelling on your fears?

Four. deepen; discover: Avoid taking shortcuts, rather go deeper, in a quest to find out what it is you really want and why! Understand, it is your choice, whether your fears will control you, or you will use them, to become better and stronger!

5. Solutions; strengthen / strengthen; sustainable; system: Those, who consider options and alternatives, and create a personal system, which directs them to viable, quality and meaningful solutions, become stronger. When we do things that make us stronger, instead of simply focusing only on current obstacles, we take giant steps towards a better and more sustainable future.

We need to engage, use our MINDS, as our friend and ally, to overcome our fears and be more productive, better and happier. Are you ready, willing and able to help yourself?
