EFT is the perfect tool to eliminate sensitivities and allergies. This includes reactions to food, pets, plants, fumes, any substance that your body reacts negatively to. No matter what substance is causing the problem, the approach is pretty much the same.

Where to start

First, ask yourself when the allergy or sensitivity first appeared. Then ask if anything traumatic happened in his life at that time or in the previous months.

If not, ask yourself if you experienced any trauma directly related to the substance you are sensitive to (cat scratch, choking on milk, etc.). Then use EFT to remove that trauma, either on your own or with a practitioner. Elimination of the effects of that related event often results in the end of the allergy.

If there is no remembered trauma

If you can’t think of anything in response to those two trauma questions, try the following:

  1. Place the substance or food in a glass, metal, or ceramic container (not plastic or paper). For airborne allergies, place a bowl of water outside for a few hours or shake a damp towel in the air to collect the particles. Then pour the water into a jar or place the towel in a container. For dust, pet hair, carpet, etc., gather some and put it in a jar with a lid (or have someone else do it for you).
  2. Then hold the bowl on your lap (to hit with both hands) or just tap the bowl with one hand while hitting with the other. Please note: when tapping, you can refer to “the substances in this jar”, or the “things in this towel”. You do not need to know what is causing the problem in order to fix it.

Get started with EFT

  • Do your configuration 3 times: “Even though I have this allergy / sensitivity to this ______ (substance), I love and accept myself anyway.”
  • Tap Round 1: “This sensitivity to ________ (substance).” (A round is a complete cycle of all the tapping points).
  • Round 2: “I ask my body to release this sensitivity now.”
  • Round 3: “I ask my body to easily accept this _______ (substance) as safe and healthy.”
  • Round 4: alternate positive and negative. “This sensitivity …”, “I ask my body to …”
  • Round 5: “Now I have a completely healthy relationship with this _______ (substance).”
  • Great Option – Play a few more rounds of gratitude for this healing, etc.

Country of persistence

You may need to repeat this process every day for a week to completely eliminate the sensitivity. If you are still concerned about possible food sensitivities, you can always touch them before eating as well. Just place one hand on the plate and strike with the other hand. Use the phrases suggested above.

True stories

I have used this process myself with excellent results. I experienced sinus problems due to outgassing from something in my house: new carpet, padding, and / or linoleum. I didn’t know which one was causing it, so I sat down on the ground where the three of them came together. I held one hand there while tapping with the other. After one session, all sensitivity was gone forever. My sinuses cleared immediately. Great!

While visiting New York City, I experienced a mysterious rash that spread a little each day. After about 5 days, I decided to give this a try. I leave a container of water outside for two hours to collect airborne particles (pollen, smog, etc.). Next, I collected dust from a storage area I had been working on and added it to the water.

I poured the water into a jar, held it on my lap, and followed the sequence above: twice a day for two days and the rash was gone! I will never know exactly what caused it, but that’s fine by me.
