If you’ve decided to take your next ski vacation to a Colorado resort, congratulations! Colorado has some of the world’s most famous resorts and the best snow available for novice and expert skiers and bikers alike.

One of the main concerns is ski rental. Now, my best advice is that if you are buying a complete ski vacation package that includes airfare, lodging, lift tickets, and ski equipment rentals, this is your best buy. Because you’re buying so much from one source, you’re sure to get a better deal because of the sheer amount of cash you spend.

Now, before I get into some of the rental stores in the Colorado area, I want to list a few of the resorts that Colorado has to offer.

You can choose from Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Telluride, Loveland, Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Vail, Aspen, Beaver Creek, just to name a few. All of these mountain towns have ski rental shops in the area, however the closer you get to your resort choice, the higher the price is likely to be. Try to stop at a larger chain store on the way to one of the mountain towns and deal with them. The prices are better and the equipment is top notch.

One store that I will mention because I think it really has the best prices and is best located is Christy Sports. You can find the store along I-70 to the major ski areas.

Again remember to have fun and relax. Skiing is meant to be fun!
