Many people at one time or another become hyperactive. This is where you have tons of energy that isn’t really directed to one place. You may feel dizzy and anxious inside at the same time. You tend to act a little differently than you normally do. Sometimes this happens quite frequently and you may not like it. Find out what you need to do to stop being so hyper so you can relax.

First of all, you need to watch what you eat. There are certain things that will make you feel more hyperactive than you normally would if you avoided them. You have to start avoiding sugars and caffeine. Both will make you hyperactive. Do not drink soft drinks, coffee or sweets before going out, otherwise you will be very hyperactive.

Learn what worries you. Sometimes you have an anxiety problem or something bothers you. Being hyperactive is a way of covering up what you feel. Deal with these nervous feelings and you will be less hyperactive.

Decelerate. Before you say anything or react, you should take a break. Being hyperactive shows when you are fully reacting. If you go slower, things will go better for you.

Feel more comfortable with the people around you. When you feel comfortable with others, you will have less anxiety. You don’t have to be hyperactive to cover up the feeling of discomfort.

Do more exercise. A lot of times you have this excessive nervous energy. When you exercise, you have a place to direct this energy.

Sleep more or sleep less. When you sleep too much, you will have this extra energy that will sometimes make you hyperactive. When you are deprived of sleep, you will be more dizzy, which will make you act this way. Sleep well.
