An HHO car is something special and something to be proud of. However, it couldn’t be much easier for any older body to convert their existing vehicle into an HHO car. Not only that, but it costs less than $ 400 for an HHO car. That’s right, that’s less than your monthly shopping bill. Y anyone can make an HHO car without any technical experience.

HHO cars fall into the category of technologies that use a proton exchange membrane as the electrolyte within the fuel cell. Hydrogen is stored in the car or truck, just like standard gas. The difference is that very small amounts of hydrogen are stored compared to gasoline. This makes the whole system safe. Oxygen is then sucked in from the outside air and used as fuel. The only results are water, heat, and electricity.

The electricity feeds or part of the power of the vehicle. Heat and water are dispersed in the atmosphere. So when it comes to by-products, there is no contamination. The environment is not affected and it is safe.

The hydrogen produced by a proton exchange membrane in a water fuel conversion is clean and green. It’s not like extracting hydrogen from methane. This process produces carbon dioxide that is harmful to the environment. It represents about 90% of the hydrogen produced in Western economies.

Converting an existing car into an HHO car is easy and inexpensive. All you need is the correct manual. There is no need to modify the existing internal combustion engine in any way. The HHO car conversion can be removed in minutes, if desired, without affecting the engine in any way. A water fuel system will increase engine efficiency by about 35%, actually increase performance and extend engine life. HHO car owners report that the lifespan of their vehicles exceeds diesel engines by more than 60%.

With an HHO car kit, H2 (hydrogen) is introduced into the fuel cell through flow field plates. They control the flow of electrons by allowing hydrogen molecules to enter before they are evenly dispersed through a mesh of carbon. A platinum (or similar) catalyst then splits the hydrogen molecules into positive ions and negative electrons.

In an HHO car, PEM is at the heart of it all. This proton exchange mechanism rejects electrons but lets electron ions pass easily. The electrons then form a vortex around the PEM and produce electricity. This electricity passes to the motor. With most systems, this reduces the need for fuel gas. In more advanced technology, no gas is needed at all. However, as I write, these gasless systems are very bulky and not particularly practical.

Oxygen is also introduced into the fuel cell. Oxygen (O2) splits in two. These atoms then combine with electrons and hydrogen ions. That forms water (H2O) which is then expelled from the vehicle, finally through the exhaust system.

Anyone can own a hybrid watercraft, right now. A decent manual will cost around $ 90. Parts will cost you another $ 300 or so. Expect savings thereafter of around 50% on gas pumps. Even someone with very rudimentary mechanical knowledge and almost no automotive tools, like me, can turn your vehicle into an HHO car in less than five hours.
