Although not as busy as Chicago, the city of Atlanta presents a dazzling environment for tourists who want to enjoy the lively nightlife and sheer excitement. Abundance of skyscrapers occupies the streets of this city. However, some of the best museums and old mansions can also be found among these tall, compact buildings. Delicious food, shopping avenues and lively nightlife are the hallmarks of Atlanta. However, people with a deep interest in archeology will hardly be happy as tourists to this city, as it hardly presents any significant historical evidence.

The most notable and interesting point of Atlanta is its MARTA rail system, this is an excellent system for traveling within the city. So if you can get close to any train station near your place of stay, it is the best means of transportation. Most of the time, tourists find one within two blocks of their hotel. Otherwise, you must have a car to visit places in and around Atlanta. For Atlanta nightlife enthusiasts, Buchhead is the area where you’ll find it all, be it bars, clubs, restaurants, or whatever you fancy.

For an artistically inclined person, the Little Five Points area that exists at the intersection of Moreland and Euclid Ave is quite amazing. Fabulous shopping arcades are available here for shopping fanatics. Downtown Atlanta has an underground shopping center rich in interesting things, especially for tourists.
