I recently heard of a woman who was trying to get pregnant and desperately wanted a girl. I had read that women who eat breakfast are more likely to have male babies. She wanted to know if this information was true, and if it was, did this mean she should skip breakfast to increase her chances of having a daughter? I will tell you my opinion about it in the following article.

There is a small study that indicated that breakfast foods (such as cereals) made baby boys slightly more likely: You had probably read an article about the recent British study that seemed to indicate that women who ate more calories and ate breakfast cereals were slightly more likely to conceive a boy. That said, however, this was a small study. There were only 740 participants in the study and the ratio of boys and girls was not as significant. Specifically, 56% of the women had boys and 45% girls. Males were slightly more likely than females to consume more calories and eat more cereals for breakfast. But then again, the stats weren’t that staggering here, at least in my opinion.

So should you skip breakfast if you want a girl or eat a big breakfast if you want a boy ?: Well, it probably wouldn’t hurt to incorporate cereal into your diet if you’re trying to have a boy, but I wouldn’t recommend skipping breakfast if you’re trying to get pregnant. And the extra calories may well have been the most important variable in women who were most likely to conceive children. There was no proven correlation, at least in my opinion, with skipping breakfast.

It is said that if you want a child, it is advisable to follow a diet rich in alkaline foods. And, it may be important to mention here that some cereals are made up of grains like rice and oats that tend to become alkaline. These non-acidic foods promote the production of sperm Y chromosomes or the child.

But if you want a girl, where does this leave you? Well, the safest thing is that you can eat a breakfast composed of acidic foods. Being acidic is more favorable for X or girl to produce sperm. Eggs are acidic and could be a good choice. Coffee, blueberries, and toast are also possibilities. So my suggestion would be not to skip breakfast if you want a daughter, but to choose a breakfast that is acidic rather than alkaline.

Diet and breakfast aren’t the only variables to consider when it comes to the baby’s gender: While it seems like being mindful of your breakfast and calorie intake may be something to think about when it comes to your baby’s gender, it’s certainly not the only thing. While your acidity and PH may influence whether you have a boy or a girl, so does your timing and the sexual positions you use during conception. Early sync would favor a daughter and late sync would favor a son.

In summary, there are at least three variables to consider when trying to make sure you conceive a girl or a boy. Breakfast is just one of them.
