Do you know Jesus Christ as ‘The Resurrection and the Life’? What you believe to be the Lord is what manifests in your life. The names of Jesus explain what he can do. This publication encourages you to exercise your faith in the Lord as Resurrection and Life.
Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, even if he dies, will live. And whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this? John 11:25”. -26 (NKJV).
The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly – John 10:10 (NKJV).
At this time of the Easter celebration, Jesus has more to offer than just remembering and celebrating his resurrection. He is always ready to resurrect what is dead or dying in and around you. He is the Resurrection and the Life. You believe it?
Martha said that she knew that Lazarus would rise in resurrection on the last day, but Jesus’ response tells her that she does not have to wait until the last day; the Resurrection itself is around – Jesus. Jesus is still present in the person of the Holy Spirit to give life to everything that is dead or dying in and around you, you do not have to wait for the resurrection on the last day.
However, it takes faith in Christ as the Resurrection and the Life for something to be resurrected. No matter how impossible the case may be, if you just believed, you would see the glory of God (John 11:40). Jesus came so that you have life and that in abundance. He is available to fulfill your number of days and make you enjoy his blessings for a longer period of time.
So as you celebrate the resurrection of Christ, also receive it as the Resurrection and the Life. Exercise your faith in Him to bring back to life what is dead or dying in and around you. Believe in Him so that you can see the glory of God in your life.
On the other hand, also believe in Him so that you have abundant life, so that each part of you works in perfect health due to the life of Jesus in you. This is superior to something that dies and comes back to life. Jesus is life! Believe that He will keep everything in and around you alive, so that you do not experience any collapse and so it will be.
I believe that Paul walked in the awareness of the life of Jesus in him in such a way that he had the power to choose whether to die or stay alive for the sake of the brothers. Death came in many ways but could not get hold of him (2 Corinthians 11:23) because he believed in ‘The Life’ in him.
Therefore, in this Easter season, embrace the Lord as ‘the Resurrection and the Life’ and enjoy life in abundance.
