  • 1 tablespoon of salted butter

Heat the salted butter in a small skillet and cook the onion and garlic for 5 to 10 minutes or until tender. Transfer the mixture to a crock pot.   • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Heat cooked ground beef in a skillet over low heat. Add crumbled bacon (reserve a small amount for garnish), tomatoes with green chilies, cream cheese, and the Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese mixture to the skillet. Stir to combine the ingredients well. Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker. Cover and cook 2 to 3 hours over low heat. When done, add the parsley and top with the reserved bacon.
